一本教写作的英文教材,第一句是
Writing in a second language may be very hard work.
提问:我怎么觉得应该是:writing in a second language may be a very hard work. OR writing in a second language may be very hard.
回答:work 作为名词时,如作"作品,著作"理解时,是可数的(countable noun);而作"工作"理解时,是不可数的(uncoutable noun),前面不能加"a".例句中是后一种情况,所以就那么说。

1. 请给我订两张去香港的日航104班机的经济舱机票。
Pin: Two morning flight 104 ticket to HK, economic class, please.
Key: Please book me two economic class seats on the JAL Flight 104 to Hongkong.
2. 我不能坐上午的班机。
Pin: I cannot catch the morning flight
Key: I can’t go by the morning flight
CATCH有“赶上”的意思,用在这里并不够确切,还是 “go by”更为合适。
3. 我要一张回程不定期的头等双程票。
Pin: I need a returned unfixed first class double ticket.
Key: I want a first class open return, please.
Hehe,自己明显不知道如何表达专用名词,first class open return=回程不定期头等双程(票)
4. 我想订一张6月 9日飞往慕尼黑的机票。
Pin: I want to book a ticket flight to Munich on Jun.9
Key: I’d like to book a flight to Munich for the ninth of June, please.
5. 我想预定7月5日飞往伦敦的机票。
Pin: I want book a ticket flight to London on July 5.
Key: I’d like to make a reservation to London for July 5.
多记忆一个常用短语:make a reservation = 预定
6. 我想确认一下我预定的机票没有问题。
Pin: I’d like to confirm if there’s any problem with my flight ticket.
Key: I’d like to make sure my plane reservation is in order.
7. 我打算在纽约中途停留。
Pin: I plan to stop in New York.
Key: I’m going to stop over at New York city.

看来TOGETHER不止用于“ 两者 ”9. 我希望我们的行李不会超重。

OUR---我们OVER THE WEIGHT LIMIT超重10. 它们重五公斤。所以我正好在重量限额之内。
